Europe may be one of the smallest continents in the world, but it is certainly one of the greatest in terms of cultural and historical legacy. Therefore, renting a boat to sail across Europe during the summer is an experience that can combine so many different things-swimming and relaxing on the beach, party at night, but also visit numerous historical sites and learn about the local culture when you rent my boat. Here's a list of various European’s most beautiful islands where you can spend a colorful holiday.
Capri in Italy
As part of Campania in the Naples Province, Capri is one of the Old Continent's most popular tourist spots. It was built by ancient Greeks centuries ago and has been a resort since the Roman Republic's time. Capri is perhaps utmost well-known for its attractive beaches and sapphire-blue sea, but not to be overlooked are the sites such as the Gardens of Augustus, the Blue Grotto sea cave and the Via Krupp footpath.
Crete in Greece
If you're in history, the ancient world in particular, then Crete is the place to go. Crete was once the center of the Minoan civilization, considered to be the earliest recorded civilization in Europe, being the largest and most populated Greek island. An outright must-see is the administrative capital of the island, Heraklion, and its site, Knossos Palace, which was thought to be Labyrinth's site and Minotaur's home.
Ibiza in Spain
Ibiza has two National Parks of special ecological significance and natural beauty; the National Park of Ses Salinas and the Nature Reserve of Es Vedrà, Es Vedranell, and the small islands west of Ibiza. Including salt lakes and beaches to lunar cords with centuries-old ghost trees, cliffs and rocky coastlines, a wide variety of different natural features can be found.
